McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has hired Parrish Rowland as senior project manager of Job Order Contracting projects for the Southwest division.

In this position, Rowland will play a key role with the firm’s team by leading project estimates, project management and client service. Having nearly a decade of industry expertisewith public projects – specifically K-12 education, higher education and municipal projects – Rowland has delivered more than 225 successful public projects using JOC. Rowland’s experience includes completing projects for Arizona State University, Maricopa Community College District, Washington Elementary School District, Scottsdale Unified School District, Maricopa County, City of Tempe and the City of Surprise, among others. He has 29 years of experience in the construction industry.

Job Order Contracting projects typically fall within a budget range of $5,000 to $1.99 million and include public and municipal projects, parking structures/lots, solar installs, labs, HVAC and mechanical upgrades or general renovations. McCarthy brings the experience of a large national general contractor to smaller projects, in order to build them with quality and often at an accelerated pace, all while on budget.
