Caliber – The Wealth Development Company, a real estate investment and development firm, has acquired a partnership interest in Sip Coffee & Beer Kitchen, a unique restaurant, coffee café and bar that highlights two popular beverages: craft coffee and craft beer. Located at 7306 E. Shea Blvd. (northeast corner of Scottsdale and Shea), Sip Coffee & Beer Kitchen is the third and newest restaurant and café in the brand’s growing portfolio. The new Sip location will celebrate its Grand Opening event on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm with the public welcome to attend.

Customers want to enjoy a great cup of coffee, families want great food and business people want a place to come and have a great craft beer after work,” said Travis Radevski, Founder of Sip. “We’re extremely proud of our rapid growth and recognize the value to further achieve our vision with a partner like Caliber. We already have two more locations planned with a target of 10 locations in the coming years.”

Sip was founded in 2014 with a single coffee shop in Old Town Scottsdale and drew inspiration from the growing craft movement. It marries the trend that people like to try both craft beers and craft coffee. The modern designed 3,200 sq. ft. Scottsdale & Shea location is Sip’s third location in metro Phoenix. The dine-in restaurant and coffee café serves up causal American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee from a local roaster, outdoor, patio, drive thru for a quick pickup and large bar featuring dozens of locally crafted beers.
Investment in Sip Coffee & Brew Kitchen was placed through the Caliber Diversified Opportunity Fund II, LP (the “Fund”) and CaliberCos Inc. The Fund provides direct investment opportunities in “middle market” U.S. commercial real estate assets and associated business operations that can deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns through a combination of current income and capital appreciation. The Fund is not currently invested in Sip’s two other locations. Future expansion plans include opening new SIP locations throughout Arizona and neighboring states.
