Background: “Newman is responsible for overseeing accounting, finance and insurance components of McCarthy, including cash management, investments, internal audit, financial reporting and risk management. She joined McCarthy in 2005 as controller for McCarthy’s Southwest Region and moved up through the organization, serving as executive vice president, finance prior to assuming the CFO position in 2022.

So when I can interact with individuals, whether on our project sites or in our offices, and really help them understand our financial model, because the work and the decisions that we we do every single day impact every single one of us as employee-owners.
