The CK Group announced that John Gray, PE, will lead its Civil Engineering and Land Development Group.

As Manager of Civil Engineering Services, Gray will be applying his 30 years of civil and transportation engineering expertise on its private and public agency client’s projects. He will oversee the planning and design of institutional campus facilities, residential, commercial/industrial sites, roadways and water and wastewater development projects.

Gray was project manager on signature projects such as:

>> US Airways Center (home of the Phoenix Suns);

>> Northwind Chilled Water System located south of Chase Field (which provides the chilled water for the HVAC system to keep numerous downtown high-rises and the the Diamondback’s ballpark cool);

>> Phoenix City Hall;

>> Cesar Chavez Plaza;

>> The Orpheum Theatre Restoration in Downtown Phoenix.

He also designed and served as civil project manager for numerous projects at Arizona State University’s main, east and west campuses and University of Phoenix Stadium.

A 30-year Phoenix resident, Gray holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
