Since our founding in 1988, Enterprise Bank & Trust has focused on guiding people to a lifetime of financial success. We empower privately held businesses to succeed, help families to secure their financial futures, and invest to advance the quality of life in the communities we serve.
We focus on more than banking transactions. Enterprise serves the state by investing in regional economic development initiatives and offering educational resources and networking opportunities to not only our clients but also the wider community.

We know that every business — and every person — is unique. We’re built on personal relationships and are dedicated to getting to know our clients and their businesses. The relationships we develop fuel our ability to tailor our banking, trust and financial advisory services to each client’s unique needs.
Since the bank was established in St. Louis, we have steadfastly held on to the guiding principles and the vision of our founders while growing to meet the needs of an expanding and flourishing community. We expanded to Phoenix and across the West, including to New Mexico, Nevada and California, and now more extensively throughout Arizona, to meet the needs of the region’s privately held businesses.
One of these needs, and a crucial piece of every community’s well-being, is education. At Enterprise, we believe in the power of education and continuous growth and improvement.
If you aren’t familiar with the program, Enterprise University is our business skill development program, designed more than 20 years ago back in 2003, to strengthen teams and businesses. It was created to meet a need in the community for continuous professional development. Enterprise University has always been available to not only clients, but the broader business community at no cost to attendees, as a testament to our belief that we only succeed when our community succeeds. In order to truly invest in the growth and continuous improvement of business owners and their teams, the decision to ensure accessibility of the program was an easy one.
The courses serve as a resource to business owners and leaders looking to offer no-cost professional development opportunities to their teams. An effective talent development program equips employees with new skills and strategies to tackle the challenges of an ever-changing business world while also furthering their careers. Enterprise University helps leaders support employees in this way.
All courses are led by subject matter experts who work in the field and live what they teach. Each spring and fall, we offer a lineup of more than 30 live, 90-minute webinars, covering leadership and management, finance and operations, human resources, marketing and sales, and other trending topics.
In addition to supporting our communities through education, Enterprise partners with local and national nonprofit organizations to help further their missions in areas like community development, affordable housing, green initiatives and more.
Our annual Community Impact Report documents just a sampling of the impact that our community partners and associates have every year through volunteerism and philanthropy. The report shares stories of hope, dreams, growth and revitalization through the eyes of the individuals and organizations impacted.
The most recent report featured our partnership with the local nonprofit Child Crisis Arizona and the inspiring story of two young girls who had never received the stability or family support they needed in foster care but, thanks to adoption and care programs provided by Child Crisis Arizona, have finally found their permanent loving home. Read the feature story here.
Another notable local partner we recently featured is The Phoenix Theatre Company. The Phoenix Theatre Company’s inclusive summer camp provides kids and teenagers a creative outlet and opportunity to grow. Read one family’s inspiring story in our Community Impact Report here.
Strong relationships with nonprofit organizations like these are a key way that we continue to invest in Arizona communities. To learn more about our work in the region and to access other resources, visit www.enterprisebank.com/arizona.
