Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation is looking forward to helping even more Arizonans with their oral health needs as its grants cycle for 2021 is now open. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for grants up to $30,000 to support oral health programming focused on education, preventative care and treatment. The Foundation will consider a wide range of oral health programs for families throughout Arizona with a specific focus on children, pregnant women and senior citizens.
“Oral health and dental disease prevention are at the core of everything we do. Through this program, which granted more than $776,000 in 2020 alone, both Delta Dental of Arizona and our Foundation are able to support the oral health of uninsured, underinsured and vulnerable residents facing significant barriers to dental care and services,” said Delta Dental of Arizona President and CEO Allan Allford.
Applications are due on October 22 by 5 p.m. Successful applicants will be announced in December 2020, with checks delivered in early January 2021. To submit, program must take place between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. An announcement of awardees can be expected in January 2021.
