Plexus Worldwide, a leading direct-marketing weight-loss and health-supplement seller, announced that the company will fund the planting of 20,000 trees after a successful Earth Day sales campaign. The promise was to plant a tree for every order placed with the company on Friday, April 22. Plexus has partnered with American Forests to help protect and replenish the Earth for generations to come.

American Forests, the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the country, advocates for the protection and expansion of America’s forests. Since 1990, American Forests has planted more than 45 million trees and restored watersheds to help provide clean drinking water. They believe in the importance of replanting forests destroyed by human action and by natural disasters.

“All of us at Plexus Worldwide were so excited to learn about the huge success of our first Earth Day campaign, and we want to thank all of our Plexus Ambassadors who stepped up to spread the word and make a difference,” said Alec Clark, President of Plexus Worldwide. “Plexus is all about championing healthier lifestyles, and when the Earth is healthier it benefits all of us.”
