“We’re very excited to add Cardiology to our services,” said Varesh Chaurasia, Chief Executive Officer of HealthyU Clinics. “Integrating specialty care directly into the primary care setting allows us to prevent, diagnose, and treat heart disease more effectively and support patients with a truly connected, team-based approach.”

Dr. Lou Ivanovic has experience and advanced training in both clinical and interventional cardiology. He has trained hundreds of doctors that are now in practice. Dr. Ivanovic takes pride in working closely with his patients, educating them about disease prevention, and diverse diagnostic and therapeutic options.

He graduated from the University of Belgrade Medical School in Serbia, did his residency at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center, a Fellowship at University of Illinois at Chicago and his training in Peripheral Vascular Interventional Program at St. John’s Medical Center.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

Prior to joining HealthyU Clinics, Dr. Ivanovic was a Cardiologist with Cardiovascular Consultants in Phoenix, Ariz.

Dr. Ivanovic is now seeing patients at 2 locations in Phoenix, HealthyU Clinics – Phoenix 40th St and Phoenix 31st Ave. His primary focus will be preventative cardiology.  Since heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, he will focus on identifying risk factors early, addressing them through lifestyle changes, advanced screenings and when needed medical management.  By embedding Cardiology within the primary care platform, HealthyU strengthens its ability to deliver seamless, coordinated care for conditions that often intersect with other aspects of a patient’s health.

“Whether you have a family history or want to stay ahead of any potential concerns, our team is here to provide comprehensive risk assessment, diagnosis, and treatment,” said Dr. Lauren Havard, Chief Medical Officer of HealthyU Clinics. “This integrated approach supports whole-person health, ensuring our patients have the tools they need to build a strong foundation for lifelong cardiovascular wellness.”
