Families can meet first responders and learn about the new Abrazo Mesa Hospital at its family fun event grand opening this Saturday.
Abrazo Mesa Hospital is now open near Baseline and Recker Roads, and staff will be on hand Nov. 16 from 10 am – 1 pm to introduce area residents to the new neighborhood hospital.
Firetrucks, an ambulance, a rescue helicopter, police cars, bounce houses and more will be on display. Visitors can take a tour of the hospital’s operating room, get free blood pressure checks and enjoy cookie decorating and free refreshments.
Abrazo Mesa Hospital includes an ER with short wait times, an operating room, diagnostic imaging and other services. The eight-bed hospital offers 24-hour emergency care and surgical services with around-the-clock general surgery, hospitalist and emergency physician coverage.
