Located on the Colorado River just off of Historic Route 66 and adjacent to Laughlin and Lake Havasu City, two of Nevada and Arizona’s most popular tourist destinations, the former Topock Marina is being re-positioned as a premier resort.

Park Place Equity of Scottsdale provided $3.8M in construction funds to develop Topock66 and complete the first phase of the project.

“You can quote me, I’ve had my ass kicked,” said Chet Hitt, the Owner of Topock66, “But I never quit. And that’s just being defiant. Without Park Place Equity, we would not be in a position to capitalize on this tremendous opportunity.”

To say the community is excited for the completion of the new Topock66 would be a gross understatement given its growing 4,700-person fan base on Facebook (facebook.com/topock66).

Fans are not only eagerly awaiting the expansion of the new 122-slip marina, but also the addition of 27 RV parking spaces, a new retail store, the River View Restaurant which includes a microbrewery, the River Bar boasting an outdoor swimming pool with swim-up bar, Jacuzzis and entertainment stage.

What’s more, the new resort will bring an additional 45 to 50 jobs to the area upon re-opening, not to mention the shovel-ready jobs the demolition and construction projects have already provided.

The total project, expanding across a little more than six acres, includes the following:

>> Marina Slips 122

>> RV Spaces 27

>> River View restaurant and microbrewery (2,400 SF)

>> Patio space for the restaurant and bar (10,000 SF)

>> Retail store (4,000 SF)

>> Pool area with swim up bar, Jacuzzis and cabanas

With funding now in place, Topock66 ownership and management have started inviting new and old friends to the big grand opening in May, just ahead of the Colorado River’s high tourist season.
