The 100-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Gilbert is scheduled to open on Friday, Jan. 25.
Located at 3021 E. Banner Gateway Dr., the Residence Inn Phoenix Gilbert will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Sunridge Hotel Group of Mesa. Porter Brothers was the general contractor; the Richardson Design Partnership was the architect.
Located six miles from Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport and 23 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the Residence Inn Phoenix Gilbert offers its guests convenient access to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Banner Gateway Medical Center, A.T. Still University and Boeing.
The hotel is also centrally located, near the Superstition Springs, San Tan Village and Dana Point Shopping Centers.

Residence Inn properties are designed as all-suite hotels that offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite also has a fully-equipped kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave oven and residential-sized appliances.
Amenities include grocery delivery service, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning services, and onsite guest laundry room.
The hotel also maintains a business library where guests can fax, copy and print materials, and provides guests with an exercise room, outdoor swimming pool, Sport Court, patio area with BBQ and a fire pit, as well as 1,000 SF of meeting space.
