Two firms are opening offices in Phoenix, and will be hiring 850 employees between both firms. Michigan-based Peckham Inc., and Georgia-based HealthPort Technologies are leasing space at the Metro North Corporate Park near Thunderbird Road and 30th Avenue.
HealthPort Technologies, a healthcare records firm, signed a 55,000 square-foot lease, and plans to hire 500 employees.
Peckham, a vocational rehabilitation nonprofit, signed a 40,400 square-foot lease, and plans to hire 350 employees over the next two months for its call center.
