Fennemore Craig announced six attorneys in the firm’s Phoenix office have been named 2016 Benchmark Litigation Litigation Stars in Arizona. The attorneys recognized are Amy Abdo, Christopher Callahan, Andrew Federhar, Todd Kartchner, Douglas Northup and Cathy Reece.

Abdo is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Section. She focuses her practice in employment litigation, commercial disputes, contract claims, tort claims, and professional liability claims. Abdo was recently selected as one of the “Most Influential Women in Arizona Business” by AZ Business Magazine and has been listed in Best Lawyers in America. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego and her B.S. from San Diego State University.
Callahan focuses his practice in the areas of environmental, toxic tort and complex commercial litigation. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America and Southwest Super Lawyers. Callahan earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles and his B.S. from Arizona State University.
Federhar’s practice includes professional liability, procurement, health care, telecommunications, municipal law, appeals, and complex commercial litigation. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Southwest Super Lawyers, and Chambers USA and was named Best Lawyers in America, “Lawyer of the Year,” Litigation – Land Use and Zoning in 2016. Federhar earned his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Arizona.
Kartchner serves as Vice-Chair of the firm’s Litigation section and focuses his practice on general and complex civil litigation, including class actions, mass tort cases, and multi-district litigation. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona and his B.A. from Brigham Young University.
Northup chairs the firm’s Business Litigation practice and focuses on complex commercial, tort and professional liability litigation. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Southwest Super Lawyers, and Chambers USA. Northup earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University and his B.A. from New Mexico State University.
Reece is Chair of the firm’s Financial Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group. She has also been selected by Benchmark Litigation as one of the “Top 250 Women in Litigation” for several years. Her experience includes corporate workouts and bankruptcies.
