Melissa Ho, a shareholder in the Phoenix office of the national law firm Polsinelli, is among 100 exceptional minority attorneys under the age of forty named to the Western Regional “Lawyers of Color Inaugural Hot List”. The honorees represent some of the most promising and accomplished minority legal talent in the western United States.
“It is an honor to be included among the first minority attorneys to be awarded with this
distinction,” said Melissa Ho. “It is particularly meaningful to see so many accomplished and talented lawyers being recognized in this way.”
Lawyers of Color Hot List honorees were chosen using a two-pronged process. The selection committee spent months reviewing nominations from mentors, peers and colleagues and performing preliminary research of bar publications and legal blogs in order to identify the most promising candidates. Editorial picks were made based on noteworthy accomplishments and achievement in legal initiatives.
Among Melissa’s many accomplishments is her recent selection for the distinction of “Best
Lawyers Under 40” by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, an honor bestowed on only a select few attorneys in the United States.
