Melissa Ho, a shareholder in the Phoenix office of the national law firm Polsinelli, has been elected for a second term to the State Bar Association Board of Governors. The members of the State Bar of Arizona elected 10 Board of Governor members. Melissa will serve a three-year term.

“The State Bar of Arizona is an outstanding organization in large part due to its members and the governance of its Board” said Melissa Ho. “I am honored to have been selected by the Bar’s membership to serve for a second time as their representative to this important governing body.”

Earlier this year, Melissa was the recipient of the AJC’s Emerging Leadership Award, a prestigious honor bestowed on an attorney practicing twelve years or less who has demonstrated a commitment to the values of public and community service. Melissa is a past recipient of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association “Best Lawyers Under 40”, a distinction achieved by only a select few attorneys in the United States. Melissa has also been named to the “Lawyers of Color Hot List” and was recently selected by AZ Business Magazine as a “Generation Next Forty Under Forty.” Southwest Super Lawyers named her as a Rising Star in 2012, 2013 and 2014 in the category of Criminal Defense – White Collar.
