Resolute Commercial Services, an Arizona-based receivership and corporate renewal firm, has been appointed receiver of the Americana Hotel, 639 N. Grand Ave. in Nogales.
After inspection, Resolute began initial work on issues surrounding the condition of the property. In addition, efforts were focused on property and operational concerns including management oversight, staff development, hotel marketing and financial management.
The property requires a variety of overall improvements as well as new management techniques and a new marketing plan to help increase hotel revenue. Once issues are remediated, Resolute will be in charge of the selling the assets.
