Role models: “My mother, father and sister raised me to focus on the most important aspect of life, the human element. Colleagues Michael Glass and John Vorsheck were instrumental in my leadership skill development. Jesus Christ, a leader in my life, has taught me how to treat others, forgive, and love unconditionally.”
Attraction to industry: “The entrepreneurial opportunity to start my own business with operational autonomy and independence while supported by a national firm originally attracted me to commercial real estate. What has surprised me the most throughout my career is how many different, successful business models exist in the industry.”
Favorite books: “‘And Then There Were None,’ by Agatha Christie was the first book I truly enjoyed, changing my perspective on reading and motivating me to read every day. ‘Extreme Ownership,’ written by a tandem of Navy Seals on effective leadership, completely changed my perspective on accountability and leading from the front.”
