LeaseHawks launched its enhanced apartment industry online education platform, Wings Learning Management System (Wings).

In partnership with the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), the educational arm of the NAA and the leading national provider of education and career development programs for the apartment industry, Wings enables successful professional development and continuing education.

Wings’ catalog of course titles includes Safety and Injury Prevention, Legal Compliance, Microsoft Office, Sales and Marketing and Professional Development. Most of the course work will be available in Spanish and, in some instances, will be applicable for NAAEI continuing education credits.

“Removing the compliance management obstacle and promoting employee performance and career development for apartment industry team members are the primary objectives of the Wings Learning Management System,” said Tracy Powers, LeaseHawk CIO.

“The NAA Education Institute is excited to partner with LeaseHawk to offer a state-of-the-art education platform for NAAEI designates and NAA members,” says Maureen Lambe, CAE, NAAEI Executive Vice President.

“For the first time, NAAEI designates and NAA members will have the ability to track designation status, register for online learning, webinars and instructor-led courses and manage their career paths. Now, every NAA-affiliated association across the country will be able to offer their members online learning solutions.”

Wings will provide property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance technicians and others access to cutting-edge industry learning solutions anytime and anywhere via an engaging and easy-to-use online platform. Wings will give managers the ability to track productivity, monitor significant boosts in closing ratios and ultimately reduce employee turnover.

“Having well-educated multifamily professionals ensures better operational decision-making and performance, which ultimately leads to quality rental housing,” said Douglas S. Culkin, CAE, NAA President and CEO. “NAAEI’s professional designations are the industry standard, and this partnership with LeaseHawk will afford more apartment professionals the chance to better understand apartment management, as well as further their careers.”

“Wings is a tool that is clearly needed in the industry as it will change the way communities learn and communicate,” said LeaseHawk CEO Mike Mueller. “It will provide defined expectations that help guide industry professionals in ways that enhance their career goals, while increasing employee retention – historically a huge issue in the industry.”
