Marcus Networking has opened a Tucson office to better service Southern Arizona clients. They team is headed by Noel Verdugo, who brings over 14 years of experience in technology operations to the team. He resides in Tucson and is extremely knowledgeable in healthcare technology including health data security – HIPAA, regulatory compliance, EMR implementation and integration, meaningful use, ICD-10 and more.
Most recently, he served as senior information technology manager at Arizona Oncology with more than 26 sites of care and affiliates throughout Arizona. Noel was responsible for determining short- and long-term IT needs and implementing an overall strategy with regard to computer and systems development, hardware acquisition, and integration. Prior to Arizona Oncology, Noel was the director of information technology at Northern Cochise Community Hospital where he was responsible for technical operations and the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Microsoft technologies.
Noel has multiple Microsoft Certifications, is a Six Sigma Green Belt, and has been a member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society since 2011.
