WOMEN IN BUSINESS: The Most Influential Women in Arizona for 2026

WOMEN IN REAL ESTATE: The Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate for 2026

Lily McNulty, shareholder, Greenberg Traurig

Background: McNulty is a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig and a trusted advisor to employers navigating complex workplace issues. She also serves as outside general counsel to companies, managing cross-border and cross-practice legal needs. Known for her sound judgment, practical approach, and breadth of experience, Lily helps employers solve challenges and build compliant workplace strategies. She advises on a wide range of employment law topics, conducts workplace investigations, delivers workforce training, supports corporate transactions, prepares multifaceted employment agreements, and represents companies in agency charges. Executives rely on her counsel for high-stakes workplace matters requiring strategic guidance.

Advice to younger self: “Continue leading with sound judgment and integrity, and never compromise your values. Work hard, build meaningful relationships, and focus on providing practical, strategic legal solutions. Trust your instincts in all facets of life, and know that opportunities and challenges will unfold as they are meant to. Define success on your own terms — and give yourself permission to revisit that definition.”

Wish for legacy: “I hope to be known as a trusted advisor recognized for integrity, sound judgment, and consistently doing right by my clients. I strive to be the lawyer clients rely on not only to solve complex, high-stakes employment law challenges, but also to proactively anticipate issues, mitigate risk, and deliver practical, business-minded solutions aligned with their goals. In addition to advising businesses of all sizes and industries on employment matters, I hope to be recognized for my ability to manage sophisticated legal matters across Greenberg Traurig’s global platform, coordinating U.S. and international counsel across areas including corporate, trademarks, copyright, immigration, and contracts. Ultimately, I hope to be remembered for combining strategic legal counsel with responsiveness, strong relationships, and an unwavering commitment to helping businesses and their people succeed.”

Surprising fact: “I am the author of a children’s chapter book series called Max and May, created for early, struggling, and dyslexic readers. The series was released earlier this year and became an Amazon top-ranked seller in books for children with learning disabilities. I created the series because my second-grade daughter is dyslexic and wanted books that felt like ‘real’ chapter books, but many of the available options were not designed to be truly accessible for dyslexic readers. In addition to the thrill of helping children feel proud of what they are reading, it has been great fun to create a company and apply for trademarks and copyrights!”
