Advice to younger self: “Stop apologizing when you haven’t done anything wrong. Women do this reflexively, and every unearned apology spends a little of the respect and leadership roles you’re working to build. Save them for when they’re warranted — they’ll mean more.”
Surprising fact: “I’m a second-generation Italian – my family came through Ellis Island. People expect the Phoenix family lawyer; they don’t always expect the New York Italian underneath it.”
