Angela Creedon

Arizona public affairs manager

Intel

Background: Creedon is Arizona’s Public Affairs Director for County, City and Higher Education for Intel Corporation. Angela is responsible for implementing strategic engagements with city and county officials as well as Arizona-based higher education institutions. Angela is the immediate past Chair of Fighter Country Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving the men, women, and families of Luke Air Force Base.

Key to success: “Relationships. You cannot go far in life if you don’t treat others with respect and dignity.  I have found it is critical to build that solid foundation based on trust and mutual respect.”

Source of pride: “Being the recipient of the Flagstaff Athena Award and Tempe Chamber Business Woman of the Year. It is always wonderful to have someone recognize your efforts and give you the added confidence you need to build your career while mentoring others. It’s extra special when your family and friends can share it with you.”

Surprising fact: “I flew in an F-16 fighter jet. We pulled nine Gs, got in a dogfight (aerial battle between fighter jets) and all while never passing out or losing my lunch. One of the greatest experiences of my life and deepened my respect for our military and in particular, the men and women serving at Luke Air Force Base. The highlight was my father-in-law, who retired from the Air Force, was there to witness my experience.”
