Professional advice: “Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships. Seek mentors and allies who can support your career goals and can offer feedback and sound advice. Never burn a bridge; it’s a small world and relationships come back around and take on many shapes and forms over the years.”
Lesson learned in 2020: “The phrase ‘all for one’ is becoming more important than ever when it comes to collaboration. Sharing perspectives and information among the many different groups involved in a deal—brokers, lenders, contractors, developers, etc.— adds tremendous value to a transaction.”
Surprising fact: “I recently picked up the hobby of hunting for mushrooms. I love hiking and backpacking with my family. Last year, I did a 31-mile hike in northern Canada with my husband to a glacier. Along the way, I encountered at least 20 different kinds of mushrooms. Unfortunately, it was at the end of the season so this past winter I picked up several mushroom books and am excited to ‘go hunting’ in Colorado in the coming months (thanks to COVID, I’ll be working remotely in a cooler climate as much as I can this summer).”
