Lynn Toler, TV judge on Divorce Court and Marriage Boot Camp

BACKGROUND: Lynn Toler served as a judge in Ohio for nearly a decade. She then hosted the nationally syndicated television show, Divorce Court for 13 years. Currently, she is the host of two television shows, Marriage BootCamp and Commit or Quit on WeTV. She is also the author of several books.

SOURCE OF PRIDE: “My book, My Mother’s Rules. My mother had a natural emotional acuity that was extraordinary. Whenever I’ve said or done anything that truly helped someone, it’s a lesson I learned from her. This book shares those lessons with the world.”

SURPRISING FACT: “I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and at 62, I can still do a handstand. Can’t walk across the room like that anymore, but I can still get up there.”

SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She was a lawyer, judge, county prosecutor and eventually a congresswoman. She had the ability to work a room like no one I ever met before. I studied her. Had I not, I never would have won my first election.”
