Background: Toni C. Stockton, MD, FAAD is the founder of Stockton Dermatology and A Skin Studio by Stockton Dermatology in Phoenix. She has expertise in dermatology, dermatological surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. With a rich history of academic roles and consulting, Dr. Stockton continues to provide education on cutting-edge therapies and practices in dermatology.
Source of pride: “I am most proud of being able to have established and provide a successful dermatology private practice that that still allows me to put my patients interests first and provide the quality care that I would like my family members to receive. My practice has allowed me to developed long-term relationships with many of patients and their families. There have been many changes are challenges in Medicine but my practice has been able to survive thru these 25 years. I am proud of the medical team I have built. I have a solid team of medical and aesthetic providers who care about our patients and their outcomes. I have an outstanding medical support staff, some who have been with me for decades.”
Professional advice: “Life will have many ups and downs but, in the end, it is worth the struggle. Don’t be afraid to take risks. Understand what your goals are but allow yourself to adjust those goals as your path can change many times in your life. It is Ok to take time for yourself.”
Surprising fact: “I love creating things. I enjoy working with my hands. I enjoy art projects and sewing. I like to do origami and I can make a great balloon animal! I am also working on a non-medical novel!”
