Background: Granger is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience designing buildings of various scales and types. As the engineer of record for over 100 major projects, Granger has expertise in ensuring project success from conception through completion. Her commitment to integrating engineering with construction practices minimizes rework and enhances cost certainty, underscoring the value of design build projects. Granger provides designs aligned with architectural concepts and recognizes the value gained in incorporating input from construction experts to ensure efficient and constructable designs. As a part of the Suntec team, Granger continues to be instrumental in shaping skylines.
Advice to younger self: “Don’t worry about anything other than the main goal, which is doing whatever is best for the building you’re trying to design and construct. And don’t sign a non-compete agreement.”
Surprising fact: “I began working at a young age. By 16, I was managing our family’s farm store. One of my former employees is now my husband, which gave me early, practical experience in supervising challenging staff.”
