Arizona’s most inspiring stories of service, generosity and community impact deserve to be celebrated, and now is the time to shine a spotlight on them. Nominations are officially open for the 2027 Az Business Angels, Az Business magazine’s annual editorial awards program recognizing the nonprofits, healthcare leaders, businesses and individuals making an extraordinary difference across Arizona. Nominations are open through July 31, 2026, and honorees will be featured in the November/December 2026 issue of Az Business magazine.

Since its launch in 2017, Az Business Angels has recognized the organizations and leaders whose commitment to philanthropy, volunteerism and corporate citizenship strengthens communities throughout the state. The program celebrates those who go beyond business success by investing their time, talent and resources to improve the lives of others.
Awards will be presented across three major areas of impact. Nonprofit categories include Fundraising Event of the Year, Most Innovative Awareness or Fundraising Campaign, Nonprofit Organization of the Year, Nonprofit Executive of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Healthcare categories honor Healthcare Executive of the Year, Healthcare Facility of the Year, Nurse of the Year, Outstanding Community Impact and Physician of the Year. Corporate citizenship categories recognize Az Business Angel of the Year (business), Az Business Angel of the Year (individual business leader), Collaboration of the Year and Outstanding Corporate Responsibility.
The editorial-only recognition program highlights the powerful partnerships that exist between Arizona’s nonprofit and business communities. From companies that champion charitable causes and employees who dedicate countless volunteer hours to nonprofit organizations transforming lives every day, Az Business Angels showcases the people and organizations helping build a stronger, healthier and more compassionate Arizona.
Community members, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and healthcare professionals are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals, organizations and collaborative efforts that have made a meaningful impact over the past year. Following the public nomination period, the Az Business editorial board will review submissions and select this year’s honorees based on their accomplishments, innovation and community impact.
Whether it’s a nonprofit changing lives, a healthcare leader improving patient outcomes, a business setting the standard for corporate responsibility or an inspiring partnership creating lasting change, Az Business Angels celebrates those whose generosity and leadership make Arizona a better place to live, work and thrive.
