Phoenix-based general construction company Linthicum promoted Vann Allan to vice president of Hawaii operations as the company continues to grow its projects in the mid-Pacific.

A 6-year Linthicum team member, Allan will be responsible for marketing, preconstruction, and construction activities for Linthicum’s Hawaii projects. He will also be tasked with managing contract administration, procurement and subcontract negotiations, cost monitoring control and maintain his previous role as project manager of individual projects at Linthicum.

Allan completed the review, qualification, and testing process to become the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) on Linthicum’s Hawaii license. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in agricultural development with an emphasis in construction science and architecture from Texas A&M.

He recently led the project management for the new seven-story Aloft Tucson University hotel conversion built for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the complex Kukui’ula Clubhouse on Kauai and the Tropical Garden Collection featuring plantation-style cottages located in the high-end Kukui’ula community.
