Whether you’re a first-time home buyer, real estate agent or seasoned investor, purchasing a home or piece of land is the largest purchase you’ll ever make. It takes a lot of work, and history has shown that the Arizona housing market can be tricky.

The real estate landscape changes quickly, and when the market is volatile, things can get complicated. A recent NPR story notes that Arizona permits for single-family homes rose 11 percent in 2018, which makes sense given job growth and migration from more expensive states, but recent tariffs and immigration policies have made it difficult to obtain building materials and find construction workers. That could drive the median home price, currently at about $265,000, higher.

1. The Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever Show

By far one of the most popular real estate podcasts around, The Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever Show, is hosted by renowned investor and author Joe Fairless. After years in the advertising world in New York, Joe decided to leave the industry in search of a different path. Now, he hosts the longest running daily real estate podcast.

Fairless spent about six months devoting himself to learning about the real estate business, raised $1 million in capital, and purchased an apartment community. This “big break” allowed Joe to accumulate serious income, and to-date, he manages over $500 million in real estate.

The Best Ever Show includes daily interviews with real estate professionals and other entrepreneurs and provides unique insights on a variety of real estate and business topics ranging from single family home fix-and-flips, the best ways to raise capital, passive investing and what it takes to become an accredited investor, and the art of apartment syndications.

2. Kevin and Fred’s Next Level Agents Podcast

Kevin Kauffman and Fred Weaver are two seasoned realtors with a lot to share. The Next Level Agents Podcast offers quick tips and tricks for thriving in distressed markets, lead generation, and income growth.

These partners actually decided to enter the real estate market in 2008 during the Great Recession doing short sales but then found that a readjustment was crucial to staying in business once the market returned to normal. Now, the two do millions in volume every year and have put together a podcast on a variety of topics. Part of what makes this podcast popular is that it offers everything from short, three-minute snippets to hour-long shows geared toward the working real estate agent.

3. Keeping it Real – Real Geeks

Any real estate agent understands that market knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills are imperative, but what about technological skills? Enter the Keeping it Real – Real Geeks Podcast, a virtual “chat room” where agents and investors gather and discuss the right way to leverage technology in today’s market. Want to increase leads? There’s a podcast for that, and Real Geeks also offers tools for property valuation, Facebook marketing, lead capture, and, of course, a customized app.

4. Cashflow Diary

Whether you’re a new or experienced investor, J. Massey’s Cashflow Diary Podcast is a must. Entrepreneur, real estate investor, and creator of the Cashflow Diary, J. Massey shares anything you’d ever want to know about prospecting, placing calls, closing deals, flipping, wholesaling, and everything else in between. With a background in financial planning and insurance, Massey made the switch to real estate, initially investing in multi-family properties. Cashflow Diary is based on providing practical, tangible success for budding real estate investors.

5. Real Estate Investing for Cashflow – Kevin Bupp

While many podcasts focus on residential real estate and house flipping, Real Estate Investing For Cash Flow focuses on building wealth through commercial real estate. Entrepreneur and commercial real estate agent Kevin Bupp started investing at the age of 20 and has since built a commercial real estate business with transactions totaling  $100 million. He has owned several other businesses including a mortgage company and an events company. Kevin’s podcast focuses on leveraging multifamily properties and commercial real estate to create a steady stream of income.

6. The Gary Vee Audio Experience

This isn’t a real estate podcast but instead a webisode show in which Gary Vee (a.k.a. world-famous entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuck) offers real-world advice on what it takes to be an entrepreneur, focusing on the ups-and-downs of business in general. During any episode of The Gary Vee Audio Experience, audiences will certainly be entertained but they’ll also be informed by Gary’s experience as an immigrant from Belarus living in an apartment in New York City with eight other family members.

He was able to grow his family business into a media empire as an early adopter of the Internet, growing a liquor store into an e-commerce giant through savvy use of media platforms like email marketing and original content on YouTube. Now at the helm of VaynerMedia, Gary Vee’s blog offers funny insights and guest appearances by highly sought-after CEOs and entrepreneurs.
