This summer is the perfect time to check out some of Tempe’s newest culinary hotspots. Even better, these noteworthy restaurants have teamed up with Tempe Tourism for “Taste in Tempe” — a discounted summer dining series designed to reacquaint savvy locals and seasonal visitors with the city’s vibrant and evolving dining scene.
For one month only, 18 restaurants are offering discounted prix-fixe menus. From decadent Italian and Asian-inspired dishes to flavorful Sonoran plates and so much more, Tempe’s top restaurants are rolling out the best deals on some of their most-loved offerings from July 1 to 31.

Bar Capri
This modern Italian eatery is an experience not to be missed. The dishes and decor are extra Instagrammable, with dynamic wall art, fresh flowers on the tables and flawless meal plating. This trendy, elevated dine-in favorite offers prix-fixe choices such as the Capri Old Fashioned with Bulleit rye, brandy and thyme paired with Goat Cheese Balls fried to perfection and Gnocchi Bolognese served with beef & pork sausage, bolognese and basil. A new resident of the NOVUS Place, Blanco is the place to go for a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere. Here, patrons will get a major dose of Sonoran flavor in favorites like Chimichangas with decadent fillings such as short rib machaca or braised chicken.

Catalyst Crafted Ales
Catalyst Crafted Ales brew masters and co-founders Will Walthereson and Alex Baldwin infuse their craft brewery expertise into all their in-house brewed ales. Visitors can enjoy a prolific selection of beer on tap, such as the Mr. Brightside Pale Ale – Belgian, a 100% Pilsner malt Belgian or the Ultimo Hombre Lager – Mexican. This new pickleball paradise is quickly rising in popularity, not only for its state-of-the-art pickleball courts, bocce, golf simulators and other games, but also for its dining options.
Daily happy hours from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to close —are an opportune time to try delicious bites like Crispy Poststickers, a Spicy Carne Asada Quesadilla or share a Hot Honey & Sausage Pizza.

Standout starters include Cacio E Pepe Arancini and the Little Gem Caesar salad. Main entrees such as the house specialty, Bolognese and Spicy Rigatoni Vodka are top fan favorites. Patrons can pair their meal with cocktails like the Ciao, Bella, a vanilla-infused Vulcanica vodka liberation or opt for the Zeroproof Just Peachy mocktail.
