Harkins announces 14-screen luxury theater at Tucson Mall

Harkins Theatres announced plans today to build a 14-screen luxury cinema at Tucson Mall, located at Oracle Rd. and Wetmore Rd., in Tucson, AZ. The new theatre will be the company’s third location in Tucson and its 37^th location overall. Founded and based in Arizona, Harkins has been entertaining moviegoers since 1933.

The new theatre will feature Harkins’ latest innovations and amenities, including the largest screen in the state, Harkins’ premium large format auditorium, the CINÉ1^® XL. This auditorium will boast plush, leather reclining Ultimate Lounger™ seats, Dolby Atmos^® 3D object-based sound across 150+ speakers and signature gold waterfall drapes that will open to unveil each performance. The CINÉ1^® XL at Harkins Theatres is the perfect fusion of technology, style and showmanship, redefining the Ultimate Moviegoing^® experience.
