The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks and @LosDbacks) have announced two second-half concerts featuring Christian-rock band Third Day for Faith & Family Night on Aug. 23 and Mexican-pop artist Cristian Castro for Hispanic Heritage Day on Sept. 27.
Four-time Grammy Award winner Third Day will perform on the field after the D-backs vs. Padres game on Aug. 23 to headline Faith & Family Night. Third Day has sold more than 10 million albums in the United States and has received 24 Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Awards. The band has one RIAA Platinum album and eight RIAA Gold albums and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009. Grammy Award-nominated Mexican pop star Cristian Castro will perform after the D-backs vs. Cardinals game on Sept. 27 at Chase Field in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Day, presented by Budweiser. Castro has been nominated multiple times for Latin Grammy Awards and has won countless awards, including being named the Best Male Pop Artist in 2012 (Premios Oye). Prior to the game, fans can enjoy a Hispanic Heritage Street Festival, presented by APS, and 20,000 fans will receive a Los D-backs T-shirt, courtesy of Gila River Casinos.
