Many talented artists have played at Talking Stick Resort, and last Saturday, March 5, legendary guitarist Joe Satriani played a rocking show.
AZ Big Media Art Director and Photographer Mike Mertes was at the event to take photos. He said the ballroom where Satriani played was packed with many enthusiastic fans, and Satrani played an amazing show filled with some of his best songs.

Satriani was backed by Marco Minnemann on drums, Bryan Beller on bass and Mike Keneally on keyboard and guitar as Satriani played his Surfing To Shockwave Tour. The tour is celebrating Satriani’s 30-year-long career.
Some of the songs that were played hadn’t been performed in years, Mertes said.
