Back by popular demand, Friday Night Lights will return to The Westin Kierland Golf Club this upcoming spring.
Starting Feb. 17, 2017, the Resort’s FUN team will partner with The Westin Kierland Golf Club to offer Friday night fun for all ages including golf games, SNAG golf for kids, 20-minute clinics with the course pros, a nine-hole glow putt course, music and even beverage cart service right on the driving range.
“At Kierland Golf Club, we think learning golf and playing golf should be about having fun – and who better than the Resort’s FUN Team to help create a great evening for golfers and non-golfers of all ages,” said Nancy Dickens, the Resort’s director of Golf.
For families, the events will offer SNAG golf (Starting New at Golf) an easy way for kids to learn the basics of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing using specially adapted equipment and targets, as well as a host of other family-friendly activities.
Adults will enjoy access to the driving range, putting and chipping clinics led by Kierland golf professionals, and games for grown-ups such as Margarita Putting (putt a lime to win a margarita), Guess Your Distance (using Flight Scope), Longest Drive and more.
Friday Night Lights at The Westin Kierland Golf Club will be offered from 5 – 7 p.m. Fridays from Feb. 17 to April 25. Admission is $10 per person. Children age 6 and under are free with a paying adult.
