The James Agency (TJA), a Scottsdale-based full-service advertising, public relations and digital firm, added two restaurant clients to its growing roster, Barrio Queen and The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen.

TJA has been named the PR agency of record for both restaurants, handling ongoing PR and social media efforts. TJA also will be redesigning Barrio Queen’s website and handling search engine optimization and digital marketing strategy for Central Kitchen.

The James Agency recently added Tilted Kilt Pub & Eateries to its roster of restaurant clients. The public relations and advertising firm also as Spinato’s Pizzeria, YC’s Mongolian Grill and Hearth ’61, which will be at the upcoming Mountain Shadows Resort, as clients.

“We specialize in representing hospitality and lifestyle brands and are grateful for the opportunity to work with these two unique local restaurant concepts,” said Veronique James, CEO of The James Agency.

Barrio Queen is a local favorite known for its edgy, Mexico City soul food and unique Dia de los Muertos style. Owned by husband and wife team Steve Rosenfield and Linda Nash, Barrio Queen has two locations, one in Old Town Scottsdale and one in Gilbert.

“We selected The James Agency because we wanted to partner with an out-of-the-box agency known for delivering edgy ideas,” said Linda Nash, co-owner of Barrio Queen.

Central Kitchen is the first restaurant collaboration between popular Arizona brewery, The Phoenix Ale Brewery, and Rich Stark, former CEO of NYPD Pizza. Founded in 2016, the restaurant is a celebration of craft beer and craft food, offering a robust menu of local brews and beer-inspired dishes. Central Kitchen is located on the northeast corner of 7th St. and Palo Verde, just south of Bethany Home.

“I was immediately impressed by The James Agency’s extensive hospitality experience and track record with introducing new brands,” said Rich Stark, CEO of Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen. “Their passion for representing locally owned restaurant concepts also helped set them apart as the ideal agency partner for Central Kitchen.”
