Flower Child, the beloved healthy, happy fast-casual restaurant, is officially open in Chandler. The eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts offers a deliciously wide-ranging menu that caters to all dietary lifestyles, from vegetarian and vegan to gluten-free, and features a selection of signature lemonades and kombucha on tap, along with a selection of wine, sangria, and local craft beers. A featured mural by local artist Andy Brown is unique to the newest locale. Located in the Phoenix suburb of Chandler in The Shoppes at Casa Paloma, this is Flower Child’s sixth location in Arizona. 

In celebration of Flower Child Chandler’s opening and partnership with The Autism Community in Action (TACA)—which provides education, support and hope to families living with autism—a portion of all opening day sales will go to the organization. To further the opening festivities, guests can download the Flower Child app and place a mobile order at the Chandler location from December 13-19th for a chance to win a $1,000 app gift card.

EAT YOUR VEGGIES, CHANDLER

Flower Child is known for its nourishing selection of salads, bowls, entrées and wraps and delicious sides, nearly all of which is vegetarian or vegan friendly. Guests have the option to mix and match combinations of seasonal vegetables, fruits and grains with proteins such as chicken, salmon, steak, shrimp and tofu. Complementing the cooler weather, Flower Child’s winter menu consists of delicious meals suitable for various tastes and preferences including the Spaghetti Squash & Zucchini “Bolognese” with wild mushroom, red lentil, organic tomato, burrata, basil and parmesan; the Greek Yogurt & Feta Dip with cranberry, toasted walnut, mint, za’atar pita chips; and the Butternut Squash “Risotto” with cauliflower rice, maple coconut cream, toasted breadcrumbs. 

Chock full of nourishing goodness, it’s made-from-scratch menu will feature fan favorite dishes like the Mother Earth Bowl with ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette and hemp seed; the Glow Bowl  with spicy sweet potato noodle, bok choy, zucchini, onion, jalapeño, shiitake mushroom, coconut milk, sunflower butter; and the Bird is the Word Wrap, back by popular demand and hand-crafted with grilled chicken, poblano peppers, broccoli, peppadew, melted pepper jack cheese and charred onion.

Exclusive to the Arizona Flower Child locations, Phoenix Sun fans can eat like famed power forward Cam Johnson by ordering his signature, “Cam’s Power Meal.” The bowl consists of salmon, gluten-free mac and cheese, and roasted broccoli. For each meal purchased, guests are entered into a monthly drawing for a chance to win a number 23 jersey autographed by Johnson. This special will be featured throughout the basketball season.
