A new group of restaurants, services and a Pilates studio is planned for GSQ in Goodyear, adding to the mix of places to eat, gather and spend time as the 150-acre mixed-use development continues to take shape.
Paris Baguette, Zara Nail Bar, Handel’s Ice Cream, Reformed Pilates, Berry Divine Acai Bowls and Magdalena’s have recently signed leases.
Paris Baguette and Zara Nail Bar will each occupy approximately 3,000 square feet and are expected to open by the end of 2026. Handel’s Ice Cream will open an approximately 1,800-square-foot location in early 2027 with a patio and outdoor seating designed as a neighborhood gathering space. Berry Divine Acai Bowls is planned for a fall 2026 opening on the Civic Square side of the development, marking its 11th location and bringing its organic acai bowls and health-focused menu to Goodyear.
“GSQ is evolving into a true town center for Goodyear and the surrounding West Valley,” said Mike Ebert, managing partner of RED Development. “Each addition contributes to how people use the property throughout the day, from morning routines to evenings out. There’s much more ahead as we continue to build out this one-of-a-kind destination.”
Reformed Pilates will introduce a boutique studio centered on intentional movement and small-group instruction, with expert-led classes designed for all experience levels. The brand emphasizes a community-driven environment rooted in long-term engagement. Reformed Pilates selected Goodyear after seeing sustained demand from clients in the West Valley and plans to begin construction this year.
Magdalena’s will bring a chef-driven restaurant shaped by Latin cultural influence and architectural detail. The space is organized around a central kitchen and fire element, with indoor and outdoor areas designed to operate as a single, connected space.
“Goodyear has been on my radar for more than eight years, and GSQ represents the kind of setting we look for when entering a market,” said Joe Maher, franchisee for Handel’s Ice Cream. “We’re designing this location to feel connected to the community, with a patio and gathering space that gives people a reason to stay and spend time together.”
The announcements follow a series of recent openings at GSQ, including Trader Joe’s in November 2025, First Watch in January and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in March.
Additional tenants previously announced for GSQ include Black Rock Coffee Bar, Fogo de Chão, California Fish Grill, CAVA and VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group), a 24-hour emergency animal hospital, all expected to open in 2026, with Nordstrom Rack to follow in spring 2027.
GSQ is being co-developed by RED Development and Globe Corporation, and will ultimately include a mix of dining, retail, entertainment, residential, hotel and office uses surrounding Goodyear Civic Square.
