The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s (LRF) award-winning 3rd annual Kitchen and Tasting Tour is coming to north Scottsdale. Individuals interested in home design, home renovation and who have an appreciation for fine cuisine, won’t want to miss this event. On Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, the foundation will host a self-driving tour where ticket holders will have the opportunity to have an up close and personal look inside of six upscale homes to view remodeled kitchens, sample signature dishes prepared by talented Valley chefs and view beautiful tablescapes. proceeds from the event will support the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.
More than 1,400 people were diagnosed with lymphoma, the most common type of blood cancer, in Arizona last year. To raise critical funds for lymphoma, the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s –the nation’s largest nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving those touched by lymphoma –Western Region is pleased to present a tour of some of north Scottsdale’s unique homes and entertainment spaces.
“We are excited to host the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s 3rd annual Kitchen & Tasting tour in North Scottsdale. Last year, LRF was recognized for the event’s creativity and fundraising efforts by the Eide Bailly Resourcefullness Awardand the ASID, North Arizona Chapter Quality of Life Award. This year we’re aiming to surpass last year’s tremendous success,” said Linda Allen, Chairperson, 2015 Kitchen and Tasting Tour. “We’re grateful for all of the support we have received for the event and look forward to raising significant funds for life-saving lymphoma research programs.”
To celebrate the tour, a kick-off reception featuring food, drinks, a silent auction and entertainment will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at The Roseo Design Center.
