Executive Chef Vivid “Gabby” Chu — the culinary force behind Phoenix favorite LeDu Thai — announces that her newest venture, Homme Thai Supper Club, will officially open its doors on October 1st, 2026. Located in Phoenix, Homme is a fine-casual Thai supper club and bar built on deeply personal family recipes, trading rigid formality for an intimate space anchored by the restaurant’s guiding ethos: “Where Thai Cooking Feels Like Home.”
THINGS TO DO: 10 quirky restaurants you have to visit in Arizona
Chef Chu first captured the Valley’s attention with her very first restaurant, LeDu Thai on Roosevelt Row. What began as a bold flagship concept quickly became a celebrated dining destination, earning critical praise from Phoenix New Times, Phoenix Magazine, and Mouth By Southwest, and doubling down with a second location on 7th Street. Named to AZCentral’slist of female “Chefs to Watch,” Chef Chu now expands her culinary story with Homme Thai Supper Club.
Growing up on a farm in Hat Yai, in Southern Thailand, Chef Chu learned the fundamentals of cooking alongside her mother before refining regional classics in her uncle’s restaurant. After immigrating to the U.S. in 2015 and honing her skills across Florida, Chicago, and New York, she made Phoenix her home. At LeDu, Chu championed the vibrant, chili-forward flavors of Southern Thai cuisine, but with Homme, she turns the focus inward to the nostalgic, comforting family meals of her childhood, elevated by fine-dining technique.
“LeDu Thai was my dream brought to life, and the support from the Phoenix community gave me the confidence to share even more of my story,” says Chu. “Homme Thai Supper Club is an invitation to sit at my family’s table. Every dish on this menu reflects the recipes I grew up eating—from the Hat Yai fried chicken I learned in my uncle’s kitchen to slow-simmered curries made from scratch. We are stripping away the pretense of fine dining while keeping all the heart, quality, and craft intact.”
A Heritage-Driven Fine-Casual Menu
The menu at Homme Thai Supper Club balances bold regional traditions of Thailand’s dynamic street-food culture and communal plate-passing meant for sharing:
- Kua Kling: Dry stir-fried minced chicken infused with Southern Thai curry paste, lemongrass, sator beans, Makrut lime leaves, and peppercorns.
- Dtom Ga-Ti: A comforting coconut shrimp gravy soup loaded with bamboo shoots, shallots, king oyster mushrooms, and sator beans.
- Gaeng Khua: Rich grilled beef Southern Thai curry highlighted by fragrant Acacia leaves.
Thai Flavors Meet Arizona Terroir, Natural Wines & Nostalgic Cocktails
A centerpiece of the Homme experience is its dedicated beverage program, anchored by an exclusive partnership with local Arizona producers as well as The Natural Wine Co., a boutique Arizona distributor specializing in organic, low-intervention, and natural wines.
Thoughtfully curated to harmonize with the bold aromatics, vibrant acidity, and spices of Chef Chu’s cooking, the wine list balances local favorites—such as Provision Wines, AZ Stronghold (Chardonnay, White Tazi, Merlot), and Flying Leap Winery (Red and White Blends)—with a dynamic natural wine selection featuring expressive varietals like Barbara Ohlzelt Gruner Veltliner, Seehof Riesling Kabinett, Broc Cellars “Love Red,” and Queen of Cups selections.
In addition to the wine program, Homme introduces “Things From Home,” a craft cocktail collection inspired by ingredients, flavors, and kitchen staples Chef Chu grew up around
- DNA: Pandan-infused Mekhong rum, chinola, pineapple, passion fruit, and coconut.
- Who Told Grandma?: Ya Dong, Chartreuse, Luxardo, muddled Thai basil, lemongrass, and fresh lime.
- Banana Espresso Martini: Vanilla vodka, O-liang cold brew, Baileys, banana liqueur, amaretto.
