Founded in 2017, Ninja Nation’s family and kid focused state-of-the-art facilities provide adults and children the opportunity to play, train, and compete while developing skills, strength, and confidence. The experience encourages them to explore their passion for moving their bodies and staying active while overcoming obstacles. The brand has six Arenas and 7 mobile courses open and operating in Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and California, as well as 16 more Arenas currently in development.

The two upcoming locations are owned by business partners Jeff Parkinson and Josh Lamstein, both of whom have entrepreneurial backgrounds and are partners at KEC Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in software companies. Jeff’s impressive track record includes investments in more than 30 companies with KEC Ventures. Prior to that, he led investments for a family office with a focus on retail, F&B, and the technology sectors. Josh is a partner at HCFP Inc., a financial services firm, and chairman of Scopus BioPharma Inc. He also previously co-founded Soli, an international mobile marketing company, which was sold to Acision.

“Josh and I were eager to collaborate on this project, especially since my three kids are avid Ninja Nation enthusiasts,” said Parkinson. “Recognizing the untapped potential in various markets, we saw a fantastic opportunity to join forces and bring the unique experience of Ninja Nation to families in the Phoenix area.”

The Phoenix area ranks among the top five cities in terms of population, boasting a massive youth athletic community. Arizona is recognized as one of the nation’s most physically active states and Phoenix is the third most fast-growing city in the country. Scottsdale also made waves ranking 12th among the best cities for an active lifestyle in 2023 out of 182 cities nationwide. Additionally, 26% of Glendale’s population is under the age of 18, making it a great location to entertain and exercise the local youth. The combination of a booming population and the young active lifestyles seen in these cities makes them ideal locations to introduce the sport of Ninja.

“In a city with countless options for discretionary spending, we want both parents and kids to choose Ninja Nation,” continued Parkinson. “Our ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional experience for all who walk through our doors.”

Ninja Nation’s goal is to create over 1 million heroes with its ongoing mission to provide a fun, safe, and engaging space where everyone can find that “hero” within themselves. To accomplish this, Ninja Nation focuses on its core values of engagement, encouragement, and energy in the facility at all times. Ninja Nation uses their world-class, state-of-the-art obstacle course arena to help kids improve their physical health and learn the importance of staying active while having a good time. The brand prides itself on building a community within its facilities by focusing on a culture of positivity, encouragement, goal setting, and building confidence. The mobile experiences, commencing in October, will be available for schools, community centers, corporate events, and more.
