Picklemall, an innovative modular indoor pickleball concept that combines the adaptive reuse of mall spaces, technology and the love of the game, will open its first U.S. location at Arizona Mills on Saturday, August 5. The 104,000 square-foot, 16 championship-style court facility will anchor the former At Home space on the east side of the shopping center near Ross.

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., experiencing 35% growth from August 2022 to March 2023, according to the Association of Pickleball Professionals. Due to this rapid growth and appetite for the game, Picklemall seeks to simplify the way people play the sport, making it more accessible and convenient to all. 

Players can visit www.thepicklemall.com to reserve their court and set a playtime for their Picklemall experience. Players will also have the option to schedule a one-on-one or group coaching session with a pickleball pro.

Picklemall combines the passion for pickleball with technology to improve your game. Inside the court, gameplay will be recorded by a camera, giving players the ability to watch, analyze and learn from their game footage in real time.

Led by CEO West Shaw and backed by pickleball enthusiast, billionaire financier and Major League Pickleball founder Steve Kuhn, Picklemall believes the future of the game is indoors — especially important as the Valley sees soaring summer temperatures and the popularity of the game continues to skyrocket.
