No tricks with this list — just treats! Halloween may look a little different this year, but you can still get in the Halloween spirit with desserts from these 10 spots in the Valley.

Spooky’s Swirls Props and Pastries

Spooky’s Swirls is a horror/sci-fi themed gluten-free bakery and museum  in Chandler. It’s Halloween all year round at Spooky’s, but some of their favorites are Spooky Sam (inspired by the movie Trick ‘r Treat), a spiced pumpkin cupcake with Scream Cheese frosting and topped with white chocolate and the Red Death cupcake, a red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and decorated with a bleeding white chocolate skull. Due to COVID-19 the museum portion of the bakery is closed, but all of their goodies are available for order online with curbside pickup.

When it comes to Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos or autumn in general, Urban Cookies has you covered. For the holidays they have several decorated cupcakes including the Spooky Spider, a vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and topped with a white chocolate spider web, and their Classic Churro cupcake, which comes with a festive sugar skull decoration on top this time of year. Other fall favorites available include pumpkin cupcakes and bread, fig and honey mascarpone cupcakes and roasted pear shortbread. Urban Cookies is located in Phoenix and all of their treats are available for take out or curbside pick up.

Sweet Dee’s Bakeshop

A Scottsdale favorite, Sweet Dee’s has tons of options for Halloween pre-orders. On their website you’ll find pumpkin carving kits paired with delicious cakes and cookies, Halloween beverage syrups, cookie decorating kits and several different treat boxes, including a horror movie box and a Disney themed box. Any of the Halloween pre-orders are available for pick up through Oct. 30 at their Scottsdale location

Smitholator Cookie Shop

Smitholator Cookie Shop is a bakery and cookie studio in Downtown Mesa that specializes in hand decorated sugar cookies. The shop has a few different seasonal confections, including a happy jack-o-lantern and a customizable candy corn gift cookie, as well as cookie decorating kits and Halloween gift boxes for sale. On Oct. 22 and 24, Smitholator will be hosting cookie decorating workshops with COVID precautions in place.

Pelton Bakes

Based out of Glendale, Pelton Bakes specializes in custom decorated cakes. This year, however, they’re offering a Halloween treat box available for pickup or delivery if you order by Oct. 29. The box includes: jack-o-lantern macarons, eyeball cake pops, skeleton cupcakes, iced sugar cookies, monster finger pretzel rods and mummy white chocolate-covered strawberries.

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Fan favorite Sprinkles Cupcakes has a few special treats this Halloween season: their classic Red Velvet cupcake topped with either a ghost or custom Basic Witch sprinkles by Fancy Sprinkles and the Halloween Double Stuffed cupcake, which is an orange vanilla buttercream filled chocolate cake lined with a Halloween orange-stuffed Oreo cookie crust and topped with orange vanilla buttercream frosting, a bat decoration and an Oreo crumble rim. Also available are several Halloween-themed boxes and Decorate Your Own/Bake Your Own cupcake kits.

This month Sweet Daddy Cupcakes has three different featured cupcakes just in time for Halloween: Monster Eye, which is your choice of a vanilla or chocolate cake topped with vanilla buttercream and a bloody eyeball topping; Candy Corn, a choice of vanilla or chocolate cake with layers of yellow, orange and white buttercream; or the Spookies and Cream, which is a chocolate cupcake topped with cookies and cream buttercream frosting and an Oreo spider. The shop also has three seasonal flavors for fall: Honey Boo Boo, churro and pumpkin spice. Sweet Daddy cupcakes has a retail location  in Chandler and a pop up location inside of Toasted Mallow in Gilbert.

Butta Cakes

Butta Cakes is a Scottsdale bakery that specializes in miniature butter cakes. For Halloween they’re offering either a 4 pack, 6 pack or a dozen of their cakes decorated with pumpkins, ghosts, spiders and more. The cakes come in an assortment of flavors for these packages: coconut, chocolate chocolate, cake batter, fudgesicle, carrot cake, cookies and cream and original butter.

Taste Buds Bakery

Based in Tucson and run by a college student, Taste Buds Bakery has a huge assortment of Halloween treats that are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Cookie boxes featuring two decorated sugar cookies in different Halloween-themed shapes are available, as well as pumpkin spice shortbread cookies, DIY Halloween cookie decorating kits and ghost or candy corn cakes. Creamistry

Halloween in Arizona is guaranteed to be a hot one this year so cool down with a delicious pumpkin pie creation from Creamistry! The dessert comes layered with pumpkin spice ice cream, graham cracker crumble, caramel, whipped cream and pumpkin spice sprinkled over the top. The pumpkin spice ice cream is also available on its own.All of the treats at Creamistry are made fresh to order using liquid nitrogen and are fully customizable. They have locations in Gilbert and Scottsdale.
