Kai at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass (5594 W. Wild Horse Pass Blvd.) was recently recognized by La Liste 2020, a prestigious global restaurant-ranking system from France that celebrates the top 1000 dining destinations in the world. Kai is one of only 113 restaurants from the United States to make the list, and the only restaurant in Arizona to receive the honor.
Arizona’s only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star restaurant, Kai, meaning ‘seed’ in the Pima language, features a menu rich in creativity, history and Native American culture. Chef Ryan Swanson and his culinary team incorporate the essence of the Pima and Maricopa tribes and locally farmed ingredients from the Gila River Indian Community to create unforgettable masterpieces. In 2019, Kai was a James Beard Foundation Awards semi-finalist in the Outstanding Service category.
La Liste, which was started in 2015, is based on a unique algorithm that analyzes restaurant reviews from around the world, as well as consumer ratings for more than 20,000 restaurants.
