As summer heats up, Sonata’s Restaurant is offering ways to chill out and dine with friends without breaking the bank. With a new seasonal menu, three-course dinner special and Sunday brunch buffet, dining out on a budget has never been easier.
Sonata’s new menu features sharable starters such as a Half-Dozen Oysters on the Half Shell with Mignonette and cocktail sauce ($20); Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with orange segments, frisee and citrus vinaigrette ($12); Steamed Mussels and Crostini with garlic, white wine, saffron, chorizo and fennel ($18) and Blistered Shishito Peppers with calabrian chili caramel, fried garlic and cilantro ($8).
Entrees include a mixture of regular diners’ favorites such as Charred Spanish Octopus with salsa verde, white bean ragout, olives and frisee salad ($25) and Chicken Kiev with dill butter and cauliflower puree ($22). For those wanting a new flavor experience, new dishes include Fresh Bucanti Pasta with blistered cherry tomatoes, arugula and pesto sauce ($19); Pan-seared Sea Bass with ratatouille and yellow pepper jus ($26) and Mediterranean Shrimp with Israeli couscous, feta cheese, cucumber, red onion and red wine vinaigrette ($22).
Every night of the week can feel like an elegant dining experience at Sonata’s with the three-course menu featuring House Salad with butter lettuce, walnuts and house vinaigrette; Certified Angus New York Steak with house-cut French fries and choice of béarnaise or green peppercorn sauce; and a French Cream Puff filled with vanilla ice cream and dark chocolate sauce for just $29.95.
On Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning July 1, guests can enjoy a buffet brunch featuring Prime Rib, Waffle and Egg stations, house salad, granola with yogurt and berries, bagels and cream cheese, sausage and bacon, roasted potatoes, seasonal steamed vegetables and fresh fruit for just $19.00 per person. Guests will enjoy live music as they dine and drink… as Sunday brunch is not complete without a cocktail to wash it down! Sonata’s expansive Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar includes a variety of freshly squeezed juices for mimosas and a seemingly never-ending list of accoutrements for the perfect Bloody Mary.
