The Standard, a new healthy dining marketplace, lounge and venue has opened in Scottsdale. The 7,200 square foot space features an eclectic dining room, quick and casual market, a street side patio lounge, an inviting private dining room and a stylish bar.  Located at 10050 N. Scottsdale, Rd., The Standard is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the bar from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.

The Standard dine-in concept is described as contemporary seasonal with a focus on healthy, simple food.  The menu is inspired from a fresh and clean approach to cuisine.  The Standard features several Gluten free and vegetarian dishes too.

Appetizers range from Curried Deviled Eggs ($6), Turkey Meatballs ($10) to Tuna Crudo ($14).  Salads are made from local, seasonal and organic produce and range from $8 to $13.  Burgers, sandwiches and entrees also feature the freshest ingredients, such as the Brick Chicken Club Sandwich ($14), Ahi Tuna Sandwich ($15) and Bibimbap Rice Bowl ($17).  Signature Cocktails such as a Sonora, Disco Lemonade, Wandering Gypsy and Gold Dust are available for $10.  Happy hour is offered daily from 4 to 7 p.m.

“Inspirations were created with overall health in mind,” said Allen Thompson, founding partner. “We’re using only the freshest ingredients such as free-range chicken, wild caught fish and organic fruit.  It shows our commitment to delivering a healthy alternative to consumers.”
The Market Side features quick and easy foods such as fresh juices like the “Tinkled Pink” which has Strawberry, Pineapple, Orange, Ginger and Kiwi and aids in fighting cancer, aphrodisiac, fatigue, anti-inflammatory, prevents heart disease and lowers blood pressure.  Smoothies, coffee, breakfast items, salads and sandwiches are available to-go.

“The market side is the perfect fit for busy families, corporate functions or health conscience individuals,” said Billy Sims, founding partner.  “More and more people are looking for healthy and simple to-go options.”

The Standard dining room and bar has comfortable furnishings and an inviting décor with soothing warm tones. The Street Side Patio Lounge has plush couches, eight 50 inch TV’s, outdoor seating for 20 around the island bar, plus regular seating and the simple touch of home. The Street Side Patio Lounge opens Aug. 16 and will feature 16 draft beers, 4 tap wines, specialty cocktails and healthy street food. It’s the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat, a drink or for a small business meeting.
