The 5th Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival is set for Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix. This beautiful grass field is located next door to the Burton Barr Central Library, with easy access from nearby light rail stations and ample bike-share locations in close proximity. Speaking of bikes, the event will feature a free “bike valet,” courtesy of Phoenix Spokes People. Limited tickets to the festival are available, so Phoenix Pizza Festival is expected to sell out before the gates open, as it has done every year.

This pizza paradise will include approximately 20 pizza makers, dessert stations, and a full, park-filled festival with lawn games, live bands, and a kid’s craft zone. Pizza makers will serve $2-$4 slices, full pies, and everything in between. Previous participants have included Freak Bros., La Piazza, Spinato’s, Rosati’s, Z Pizza, Buddyz, Jimmy & Joe’s, il Bosco, Floridino’s, Saffron JAK, and Nello’s. Craft beer has been served by Mother Bunch, O.H.S.O., Wren House, and THAT Brewery. Expect a similar lineup this year.

The Phoenix Pizza Festival has again partnered with Downtown Phoenix Inc. as a beneficiary. This community development group promotes the revitalization of downtown by supporting events and local businesses. For the second year in a row, the Pizza Fest producers and Downtown Phoenix Inc. are also collaborating to produce the Downtown Donut Festival on the next day, Sunday, November 17. Details for that festival can be found at www.downtowndonutfest.com/.
