The 31st annual Chandler Chamber of Commerce Ostrich Festival announced that chart-topping singer and rapper, Flo Rida, will headline the festival on Friday, March 8. Grammy Award-winning Motown and R&B/Funk band, The Commodores, will headline on Saturday, March 9, and Pop singer, Andy Grammer will join the lineup on Sunday, March 10. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. MST at OstrichFestival.com.

You can’t beat the fact that a reasonably priced general admission ticket gets you access to a day filled with over 100 hours of amazing, family-friendly performances and musical acts,” said President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Terri Kimble. 

Flo Rida (3/8) – Flo Rida is an American rapper, singer and multi-platinum artist, whose career began in the early 2000s. Emerging from the nightclub scene in Miami, the singer made a vast impact in the music industry with his breakout debut album “Mail on Sunday,” which featured multi-platinum and Billboard No. 1 song, “Low.” Following the critically acclaimed release of “Low,” Flo Rida continued to release “Elevator (feat. Timbaland)” and “In the Ayer (feat. will.i.am)” on the same album, both which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Since his first album, Flo Rida has released three studio albums and an EP, all but one of them have charted within the top 15 of the US Billboard charts. Some of Flo Rida’s most recognized songs include “My House,” “Wild Ones (feat. Sia),” “GDFR,” “Cake,” “Good Feeling” and “Whistle.” 

The Commodores (3/9) – The Commodores have been honed one of the greatest Motown and R&B/Funk artists of all time. Made up of Walter “Clyde” Orange, James Dean “JD” Nicholas and William “WAK” King, The Commodores have proven themselves a force in the music industry, selling over 75 million records worldwide. Over the last 50 years, the band has racked up seven No. 1 hits, five No. 1 albums, 20 Top 10 singles, 15 Top 10 albums and have been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. In addition, the group currently holds eight Grammy Award nominations and one Grammy Award win for their 1986 single, “Nightshift.” The Commodores have moved generations with their long list of certified hits including; “Machine Gun,” “Brick House,” “Easy,” “Three Times A Lady,” “Sail On,” “Slippery When Wet,” “Oh No” and “Too Hot Ta Trot,” just to name a few. 

Andy Grammer (3/10) – Andy Grammer is a multi-platinum selling pop artist best known for his empowering and uplifting style of music. Grammer was the first male pop star in the last decade since John Mayer to reach Top 10 at Adult Pop Radio on his first two singles. Grammer has a number of critically appraised pop anthems, six of which are certified gold or higher. The singer’s debut album featured two of his best known platinum singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me.” Following the release of his self-titled freshman album, Grammer went on to release his second album Magazine or Novels in 2015. The sophomore album featured the triple platinum single “Honey, I’m Good,” and certified gold single, “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah).” Since then, Grammer has proven himself relevant in today’s popular culture through his recent records “Fresh Eyes,” “Give Love” and his newest hit single, “Smoke Clears.”

Tickets for the 31st annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival will go on sale at OstrichFestival.com on Friday, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. MST. Adult Tickets will be $15, tickets for seniors 55+ and children 12 and under will be $8, and children three and under will be admitted to the festival free of charge. Limited VIP tickets will be available for purchase. Adult VIP tickets will be $50 and VIP tickets for children will be $30. Adult ticket prices on Saturday and Sunday will increase to $20 at the gates after 2 p.m. Ride tickets and all-day ride passes must be purchased separately. Family Packs and Individual all-day ride passes will be available for purchase at a later date.
