Scottsdale Quarter

Sustainable design elements were incorporated throughout Scottsdale Quarter. Unique challenges, such as phasing of the project around an operating laboratory and organizing the installation of building services to meet space requirements, were faced and overcome. One of Glimcher’s design goals was to create a “place” and not a “project,” therefore the architectural expression is organic in nature, complementing and creating diversity through a strong urban rhythm, form and materials. The architecture is complex, contemporary and clean, and the palette of materials is regional in nature.
