Leadership quality: “What I think is an important quality that I have is that I’m an effective and strong communicator. And by that, I mean I listen as much as, or more than, I talk. Seeking input from others, whether it be our shareholders or others on our team, fosters open lines of communication, helps to identify existing issues and leads to well-informed solutions. It also allows for the collection of information in order to be prepared to address emerging issues. Everyone has value to add and capturing that value through effective listening is key.”

Source of pride: “The professional accomplishment from the past year that I’m most proud of is being selected and named the President of Burch & Cracchiolo.  I’ve always been incredibly proud to be a part of this firm and its rich history in the Phoenix business and legal communities. I’m also incredibly proud to be part of B&C’s commitment to providing excellent client service. To be able to lead the firm and do so alongside an entire team of skilled colleagues and leaders within the firm is an accomplishment I’m especially proud of.”

Leadership takeaway: “I hope others who work with me know, and take away, that we all have an important role and are valued contributors to our firm’s continued success. Our success as a firm, employer, workplace and professional team depends on all of us and our combined commitment to excellence as to the work we do, for our clients and for each other.”

Industry outlook: “My outlook is positive as this is an exciting, albeit challenging, time for law firms and the legal profession. We face market demands that could require fundamental changes to how we perform legal work, how the legal services we provide are delivered, and how we — law firms — conduct business operations.  But with every necessary and fundamental change comes exciting opportunities to better serve our clients, our colleagues and personnel, and our community.”
