VIAONE Commercial Real Estate cleared the way for Gilbert’s newest proposed rehabilitation hospital development on a 4.52-acre site located north of the intersection of Coronado and Santan Village Parkway. The Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Rehabilitation Hospital will be 2-stories, 53,322 square feet, and have 40 beds. The 4.52-acre site was purchased for $4.15 million.

The proposed medical development shall be a new rehabilitation hospital strategically located just outside the SanTan Village just 2.9 miles from Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. The Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Rehabilitation Hospital will offer
acute physical rehabilitation services on an inpatient basis for post-surgery and or trauma injuries. Treatment services shall include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Access to the site is provided via two right-in/right-out drives off SanTan Village Parkway and two full motion drives along the private road to the south and west. In addition, a main drive aisle connecting the adjacent Doubletree by Hilton will be constructed with this development.
“The rehabilitation hospital development will include a pedestrian friendly, outdoor courtyard area to emphasize the open-air layout design”, says Marc Bonilla, president of VIAONE. “The hospital development compliments one of Gilbert’s strongest areas in the SanTan Village”.
Kindred Healthcare, LLC, of Tennessee purchased the site from Keystone Senior Investments X, LLC. The buyer was represented by Katie McIntyre, Vice President, of JLL. Marc Bonilla, President and Founder of VIAONE represented the Seller in the land purchase.
